Yes, easily I think. You could have XMLisp classes for each XUL  
object type along with mixin classes for common elements.

If the core lisp part was connected in Komodo, I expect things could  
progress very quickly. It might even be fairly easy to automatically  
generate all the lisp classes to interface with XUL.

The idea of having a Cocoa interface is very appealing, but I think  
it will be an ongoing struggle to have anything complete and  
comprehensive. LispWorks has done a pretty good job, but years later  
there is only support for a small fraction of Cocoa (both open source  
and from LispWorks). Even with their Objective-C interface, getting  
some thing usable from Lisp is difficult and time consuming.
