This was of course what I was getting at in my reply to Marco - I have
little use for a common lisp on Mac OS X if it *doesn't* let me easily
use Core Image, etc. from within lisp.

Well I definitely come down on the end of give-me-full-access-to-the-
richness-of-the-Mac and least-common-denominator, cross-platform
toolkits be damned.
