This is my problem as well. We have clients and new funded business
opportunities, but much of our code is in MCL, and lack of support for
*any* shipping workstation is a deal breaker. The farther any new UI
toolkit strays from the MCL API the more costly it will be for us to
port, and the less likely it will make business sense.

My company (Flavors Technology, Inc.) helped fund the port of MCL from
68k to PPC over ten years ago (http://digitool.com/history.html). We
remain interested in exploring whether doing this again for the port of
MCL to x86 based Macs or PCs would help make this come about (sooner).
