It is very nice to hear from you, Alice. I can't imagine that this 
situation is very pleasant for you. I would like to say how much MCL 
has meant to me in my artistic work and to thank you for the role 
that you have played in MCL's development over the years. We realize 
what an excellent resource it really is when we try to think of 
something to replace it. I hope that releasing MCL as open source 
will allow it to continue to evolve.

I would be willing to join with other people on this list who have 
indicated their willingness to contribute financially to a port to 
Intel.
