[info-mcl] Can we get some price quotes?

Since there seems to be a lot of interest in providing financial
support for MCL development it seems to me that the next step is to
get some estimates on how much it will cost to get various things
done. Can we get some price quotes from the people who actually know
how to do these things? (Gary, Gail, Andrew, I'm looking at you :-)
Specifically:
1. How much would it cost to get regular MCL running on an Intel Mac
if runtime efficiency is not a concern? I'm thinking here in terms
of some quick-and-dirty hack that will get the current system working
under Rosetta even if the resulting system is horribly slow. (And
just how horribly slow would it be?)
2. How much would it cost to develop an Intel-32 compiler for MCL if
runtime efficiency is not a concern?
2a. Same as above, but if runtime efficiency is a concern?
3. Now that Fred is going to be open-source, how much would it cost
to port it to OpenMCL+Cocoa? How about the inspector?
4. And while we're at it, how much would it cost to reproduce the
MCL Quicktime API on top of OpenMCL+Cocoa?
Feel free to respond privately if you don't want the world to see the
numbers.
