Free, open source cross platform Common Lisp including Cocoa, OpenGL, ... CLOS based interfaces, ... already here. Here is an icon editor example in CCL (image file loading, OpenGL rendering, down/up/moved/dragged mouse handlers, color pickers, alpha channels, selection management, ...):
same code running in Windows XP with CCL win + Cocotron:
Sorry, you can run this with without touching XML but to define dynamic layouts you will have to write or generate xml.

Hemlock works reasonably well and now also works - still incomplete - on Windows. This is something that MCL never did and unfortunately MCLIDE never will.

As I said, this is a funded effort. If it is not cross platform we cannot pay for it nor spend time on it.
