  System calls defined in OS-specific hash tables, not in the FTD.
  System call indices are in the "SYSCALLS" package, not "OS".
  (These changes make it a little easier to cross-compile between
  different architectures on the same OS, and perhaps a little more
  awkward to cross-compile between OSes.)
