[Openmcl-devel] weirdness with asdf?

I know just enough about ASDF/ASDF-INSTALL to be dangerous (maybe not
even enough to be dangerous ...), but I wonder whether or not the
problem may have to do with the discrepancy between:
^ no leading dot
^ leading dot
